This is not just another motivational post, this is “The Motivational Post” that is going to prepare you for that next step, or maybe it’s your first step. Either way, this post is going to transform your life, from a life of just going through the motions like an automaton to becoming an individual that takes control of their life and doesn’t just accept circumstances, but rather you will create them.
I know I have been gone and kind of silent on here for quite a while, but it’s because I have been out there in the real world doing the damn thing. The stuff that I talk about on here is not just fluff, it’s not make believe, it is real $h!t and it’s all actionable for anyone who desires to change their lives. Are you ready!?
There were so many things that I was working on and life was changing quickly over the past year or so. All of these changes occurred because of tons of tiny little actions that I was taking, like for instance, starting this blog and not knowing whether anyone would actually find it useful and spread the word. The action I took though was a seed that I watered a lot in the beginning and to be honest I didn’t really see the results that I was hoping for, but over time they have come.
Like I said, I have been out there living all the things that I talk about in this blog and in my life. I am still working my regular 9-5 (which is actually 7 a.m. to 4ish, usually I don’t end up clocking out until 5:30 or so), and I am still working every single Saturday for my friend and that is now paying me $160 a day as opposed to the $75 he was paying me originally. I also created a business link between my landlord and my friend, which also led to me doing some extra side work for my landlord. All of this came as a result of me being ready and stacking up tiny habits that were preparing me to create the opportunities that I sought. Are you ready!?
The truth of the matter is that you have to go after what you want, you have to create it. No one is going to hand it to you, no one is going to wrap it up with gift wrap and a beautiful little bow. You have to decide what you want, and you have to decide that there is nothing and no one that is going to stop you from achieving the success and the dreams that you have for yourself. Are you ready!?
Are you ready to stay home and read the books, or the manuals, or watch the videos that are going to teach you how to do the things you want to do? Are you ready to sacrifice and go to sleep early or stay up late and are you ready to wake up at 5 a.m. or maybe even before so you can have that alone time to focus on your dream and on your goals!? Are you ready to write those goals down on some paper and give them life and are you ready to take it even one step further and write down some tiny actions that you can take to achieve those goals and dreams!?
Are you ready for people to laugh at you and tell you there’s no way you can do that!? Are you ready to persist when you don’t see your dreams, goals, and plans unfolding as perfectly as you had hoped and imagined!?
